Wedgewood Manor Country Inn

Wedgwood Manor is situated on a fifty acre estate that tilts westward toward a magnificent view of Kokanee Glacier. This lovely 1910 board-and-batten style house is one of the finest lodgings in Southeastern British Columbia.
Downstairs there are two guest rooms (the Study and the Sun Room), a dining room and a parlour with a fireplace, where guests enjoy evening tea and conversation with fellow travellers.
The four spacious upstairs rooms open onto a quiet, comfortable library and all have large windows that afford views of the gardens and landscaped grounds. All of the Manor's rooms have private, ensuite bathrooms.
Be sure to set aside time to stroll the Manor grounds. There's a self-guided historic walking tour that features vignettes of the estate's past, taking you along English flower gardens, ancient trees, and ponds with fish and ducks. The friendly Samoyed dog, Kayla, will be happy to be your guide and take you through the forest trails in the "back 40." A two-hour mountain bike trail begins at the Manor doorstep. |
